Lori Moore owned and operated a travel agency for 14 years. Following the sale of the business, she spent time raising her children and partaking in extensive volunteer efforts for a variety of organizations. Her charitable and volunteer involvement includes work at 92nd Street Y Nursery School, Collegiate School, the Town School, and Trinity School. She was active in all of her children’s schools in several roles, including as a class rep, PA President, benefit chair, book fair chair, and Teacher Appreciation Day chair. She was also a board member at The Town and The Children’s Museum of Manhattan for 10 years, as well as a Harvard University Parent Fund co-chair in 2011 and 2012.
Lori is active with the LCLJ Strategic Planning Committee that made the recommendation to hire full-time educators. She is chair of the Development Committee and also participates on the Membership Committee.
